THE brightest bunch of Thetford gardeners have been rewarded for their green-fingered exploits.
Roy Carpenter, Dian Waldron and George Stannard collected their prizes for this year’s Thetford Front Gardens competition at King’s House last Thursday.
Susan Glossop, Thetford town centre manager, said the trio, as well as The Bell Hotel, had been rewarded for making Thetford a more colourful place.
“We always encourage people to look after their gardens as it brightens up the town.
“For next year we’d like even more people to nominate their gardens, especially businesses,” she said.
All the winners received vouchers for plants from Shadwell Estate.
