A taste of Rio and a splash of carnival colour is heading to Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival at the end of this month.

The two day event, organised by Ourburystedmunds, on the Bank Holiday Sunday, August 28 and Monday, August 29 promises celebrity chefs, cookery demonstrations, a farmers’ market as well as a wealth of food and drink stalls.

At Langton Place, there will be a chance to relive the spirit of Rio 2016 with Brazilian music and dancing plus workshops in mask-making, dancing and steel drumming.

The urban beach will be at the arc shopping centre and the celebrity chefs are Galton Blackiston on the Sunday followed by James Tanner on the Monday.
