Bury St Edmunds firefighters rescue three dogs locked in car

Firefighters rescued three dogs which had become locked in a car in Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident, in College Street, yesterday (June 28) at 6.01pm.

A spokesman said the caller had tried their recovery service but, after being told they would have to wait more than three hours, they contacted the emergency services.

One crew from Bury attended the scene and used equipment to free the dogs by 6.25pm.
