Firefighters rescue baby trapped in car in Barton Mills

Firefighters rescued a baby who was trapped in a car this morning.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at 10.41am to the McDonald's, at the Fiveways roundabout service station, in Barton Mills, to release a 14-month-old child who was trapped in a car.

A spokesman said the key had accidentally been locked inside and a crew from Brandon used rescue equipment to release the baby from the car.

A spokesman said: "There were no injuries reported."

The crew left at 11.06am.
