Firefighters release two casualties trapped after crash in Haughley

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to an accident involving one vehicle in Haughley this morning.

Fire crews from Bury St Edmunds and Elmswell, and the rescue pump from Stowmarket, were sent to the crash in The Folly, Haughley, at around 7.21am.

Firefighters arrived to find two people trapped and set to work with hydraulic cutting equipment in an effort to release them.

One was released shortly before 8am and the other by around 8.03am.

All crews were back at their home station by 08.32am
