Firefighters called to flat fire in Bury St Edmunds

Firefighters have been called to a flat fire in Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue were alerted to the incident in a bedroom of a ground floor flat, in Cotton Lane, at 5.08pm.

Two fire engines from Bury and another from Elmswell attended as well as Suffolk Police.

The incident was under control by 6.25pm.

Suffolk Police tweeted that all occupants are okay.
