An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire which destroyed a garage and damaged two houses in Lakenheath yesterday evening.
More than 25 firefighters from four fire stations were called out to tackle the blaze which broke out in Eriswell Road at around 7.45pm.
The fire started in the garage before spreading to two neighbouring houses causing external damage to both properties.
A car, believed to be a Morris Minor, which was inside the garage at the time of the fire, was also destroyed
Crews used six-sets of breathing apparatus, three hose reels and two water jets crews had the fire under control by 9.10pm.
No-one was injured as a result of the fire.
