Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attend incident at Sackers Yard in Needham Market




Four fire engines were needed to tackle a waste fire in Sackers Yard in Needham Market.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called out just after 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday, March 15) to the scrap metal and waste recycling centre in Lower Street.

They discovered a fire in a waste container, which contained no hazardous materials.

The fire was contained and extinguished within one hour of the call being made.
