Fatal collision on the B1112 at Methwold


Police were called to the scene of a fatal crash at Methwold last night.

Officers were called at 5pm following a two-vehicle collision on the B1112.

Fire and ambulance also attended.

A woman in her 30s, a single occupant in one of the vehicles, died at the scene.

A man and a woman in the second vehicle were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn for treatment.

The road remained closed while it was cleared of debris and initial investigations into the cause of the collision have begun.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Norfolk Police on 101.
