Family’s festive lights show just gets bigger and better
A family in Thetford have created a winter wonderland for the past 22 years with their Christmas lights and this year is no exception.
Peter Daw, his wife June and daughter Virgillia take three months to build the lights display at their Fulmerston Close home.
The tradition began when June’s dad Jimmy Macrow began putting up a window display. When he died the family continued it and the display has grown and grown.
People come from near and far to enjoy the show and while the family don’t do it for charity people can make a donation to the Ronald McDonald charity if they wish to.
June said: “It’s the longest running display in Thetford. I’d like more space so we could have more.”
Already pictures of the display on the Thetford Forum website have had 400 likes.
