Family pay tribute to Bardwell woman who died in collision

The family of a woman who died in a collision in Bardwell have paid tribute to her.

Katie Bent, 32, of School Lane, Bardwell, passed away at the scene of the two vehicle collision in Bardwell Road on Sunday, February 5.

Police were called just before 10.50am after the Vauxhall Corsa she had been driving was involved in a collision with a Ford Galaxy.

In a statement issued through the police, her family said: “Katie was a loving mother, sister and partner. She was a fearless character, fun loving and never stopped smiling and enjoying life.

“She will be sadly missed by her family and friends but we feel honoured to have known her and to have been in her company.”

Witnesses should call 101 quoting CAD number 127 of February 5.
