A BUILDING designed by a firm based on Moreton Hall has won a leading international award.

Rees Pryer Architects, in Kempson Way, received the 2012 Green Apple Built Environment and Architectural Heritage Awards last month for its design of the recently completed exhibition building at Longstanton park and ride, in Cambridge.

Rated ‘excellent’ by the Building Research Establishment, it acts as a passenger interchange for the new Cambridge Guided Busway and demonstrates efficient construction, and low carbon technologies.

Chris Wilkie, a ‘delighted’ partner at Rees Pryer Architects, said: “The whole project team worked hard to achieve this accolade and it is something of which we are very proud.”
