Suffolk Police find entire homes in Brandon and Thetford converted into cannabis factories

More than 160 cannabis plants were found in a Brandon home which had been entirely converted into a drug factory.

Officers from Norfolk Police discovered the operation at an address in Ash Close on Monday night (March 4).

This discovery followed on from a find of a cannabis factory at an address in Boston End, Thetford, at around 10.45pm.

Norfolk Police said: "Officers were called to reports of suspicious activity, and a large cannabis factory was discovered within the property."

Some of the cannabis was spotted in the property's toilet.

Three men, two aged in their 30s and one aged in his 40s, were arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Station where they remain in custody.

Suspects have been released on bail until March 25 while enquiries continue.
