Police are investigating three burglaries discovered in Elmswell early this morning.

Suffolk Police were called just before 3am to reports intruders had been disturbed at a home in New Road, where an outbuilding had been entered and a mixing deck, iPad and cash stolen.

A number of other items were abandoned outside the address and a small white car was seen driving past the property moments later.

Police believe this incident may be linked to two others.

In Cooks Road early today someone was disturbed in the back garden of a home and a lawnmower that had been taken was found nearby.

Finally, in Wetherden Road a bicycle and fishing equipment were taken from a shed but abandoned on the pavement nearby.

Call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime number 32309/16.

Officers are also urging residents to call 999 immediately if they notice suspicious behaviour and suspect a crime may be in progress.
