Elderly woman targeted in distraction burglary

An elderly woman was targeted during a distraction burglary in Little Finborough last week.

The incident happened in a lane off Bildeston Road at approximately 11am on Wednesday April 15.

Two men attended the property of the woman, claiming they were there to carry out home repairs.

One of the men entered the house and went up into the attic, using his own ladder.

He then demanded an amount of cash, which was handed over by the resident.

The men drove off in the direction of Battisford in a van.

The man who entered the house is described as white, with a tanned complexion, approximately 5’10” tall, of a large build, aged approximately 40-years-old, with short dark curly hair wearing a navy coloured boiler suit.

The man, who stayed outside the property, is described as white, approximately 5’4” tall and aged approximately 30-years-old.

The van is described as a white mid-sized van with ladders on the side.
