The Duchy of Lancaster Primary School in Methwold has been given a glowing report by Ofsted inspectors who say the school is good and its pupils’ behaviour outstanding.

The school has 101 pupils aged four to 11 and, while it is a smaller than average primary, pupil achievement is good.The quality of teaching is good and leadership and management is also good and staff morale high.

The school makes excellent provision for pupil’s personal and academic developmment and children are proud of their school, willing to take responisbility and helpful and supportive towards each other. Their attendance is above average say inspectors.

Lynne Stabler, headteacher, said: “We have taken great strides to improve in all areas. Our next challenge is to press ahead to make this an outstanding school across the board.”
