A GROUP of school students from Stowmarket enjoyed a special trip to Suffolk County Council headquarters for training.

The Year 10 student leaders from Stowmarket High School took part in team-building exercises and activities at the council offices in Ipswich. Pupils took part in discussions about what makes a good leader and looked at examples of past and present leaders in society.

The group also got the chance to use the council chambers for a debate on an agenda which was previously agreed and set.

Once their role begins at Stowmarket High School the student leaders hope to look into school uniform, school rewards and the school environment.
