A school in Bury St Edmunds has maintained its ‘good’ rating with Ofsted.

St Edmundsbury Primary, in Grove Road, was judged by inspectors following a visit from March 7 to 8.

They found that ‘pupils make good progress and standards are above average by the end of Year 2’ as ‘teaching is consistently good and some is outstanding’.

Inspectors also highlighted the ‘outstanding leadership’ of the headteacher and deputy headteacher.
