CHRISTMAS trees, candles and angel doilies were among the festive decorations created by pupils at a Bury St Edmunds school.
Children at Tollgate Primary produced a wealth of eye catching crafts to adorn the school in preparation for a seasonal fair.
The event featured goods produced by the pupils including Christmas gift boxes, cards, cakes and stockings.
It raised about £800 which will be used by the school to purchase items for the children.
Headteacher David Hicks said: “All of the children had a great time making the decorations. “They could mix in groups and choose which room they used to produce them.
“Some of the pupils helped with the stalls and others went around with their parents to buy things.
“The fair was directly after school so we caught parents as they came in to collect their children.
“The whole event went down very well and we had a lot of parents and children going around the hall.”
