A COUPLE who risked it all to take on their dream pub have just celebrated a year in business.
Rebecca and Paul Casson took over the White Hart in Tuddenham on November 6 last year and have made it an integral part of the village over the last 12 months.
Rebecca said welcoming locals had greased the wheels of their success.
“Everyone here has been great from day one and it’s been a great experience.
“There has been a learning curve but we’ve tried listening to our regulars and doing all we can to fit into village life,” she said.
On Sunday night, regulars toasted the anniversary with free food and drink.
Rebecca was a pre-school teacher and Paul worked in logistics before their move.
