Wood Ley Community Primary School, in Lowry Way, gained a ‘good’ grade in every category during an Ofsted inspection in March.

Headteacher, Sara Ward, said: “We are pleased that the Ofsted report has recognised that the caring and pupil-centred atmosphere of the school provides a good environment for learning, that the curriculum is good and that the school runs smoothly.”
Ofsted commended the school for a positive atmosphere in the classroom, and said that the good quality of care, guidance and support promoted pupils’ personal development.
