A NATIONAL conference on young people and domestic abuse is being hosted in Needham Market on Thursday.
Staged at Needham Market Community Centre in School Street the event will hear from six leading speakers and be attended by professionals and volunteers from across the country.
This is the third conference on domestic abuse hosted by Mid Suffolk Domestic Abuse Forum and 90 different agencies will be represented.
John Spitzer, Mid Suffolk community safety manager and chairman of the forum, said: “We know how vulnerable young people can feel and what negative effects being a victim of or witnessing domestic abuse can have on lives.”
The conference will be opened by Stephen Miles, High Sheriff of Suffolk.
