CRIMINALS beware – there is a new team of super-sleuths trained and ready.
Year 3 children from Thetford Grammar School are now ready to sniff out crooks after they took part in a crime scene investigation.
The children took shoe scrapings and a chromatography test on pens to eliminate suspects and solve the mystery as part of a celebration of Agatha Christie.
They will put their newfound detective skills into action when they write their own mystery stories later this term.
Cat Sulley, Year 3 class teacher, said: “Through taking on the role of investigators and experiencing the thrill of adventure, the children will be able to be more creative and vivid in their own writing of an adventure story.”
