Easter bin collections may be made early warns council

West Suffolk residents are being advised to check their bin collection times over Easter.

West Suffolk Council released a statement telling residents that their bins could be collected two days earlier than normal.

Leaflets are being delivered to all 80,000 West Suffolk homes starting this week, with a calendar for collection times included.

For those who would rather rely on digital updates, the council's postcode based bin collection page can be found by clicking here.

The statement also advised that residents should check West Suffolk Council's website for any changes that may occur due to government instructions or coronavirus.

Current advice for anyone with virus symptoms is to "place all used tissues and disposable cleaning cloths in a double wrapped bag and keep aside for 72 hours before putting it into the black bin."
