The house the 4th Earl of Bristol lived in while having Ickworth House built in the 18th century has been turned into 11 apartments.

The Lodge at Ickworth has been refurbished by Luxury Family Hotels, who own The Ickworth hotel in the main house’s east wing.

Apartments start at £140 a night or you can rent the whole lodge, which sleeps 36 adults and 14 children, for £1,850 a night. That includes breakfast served in its Garden Room.

The apartments in the former dower house have garden views and kitchenettes so families can prepare meals as well as using the hotel’s restaurant.
