PUB staff swapped work uniforms for pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers during a charitable sofa-sit.
Staff at The Moreton Hall pub donned their most comfortable bed clothes last Monday to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice Care, in Bury St Edmunds.
The event, originally planned to take place outside the Ember Inns pub in Lawson Place, was staged indoors due to bad weather, with customers also invited to dress down for the occasion.
Even the pub’s cleaner, Sue Appily-Janes, joined in with the fun, which raised £176.
Pub landlady, Georgina Barnes, said: “It was fun for all. We certainly wowed a lot of guests and it helped us to bond with the community.”
Since February, the pub has raised £780 for the hospice.
