Deliveroo on search for Bury St Edmunds drivers and riders ahead of September launch

Food delivery service Deliveroo is due to launch in Bury St Edmunds next month.

The company allows customers to order high-quality takeaway meals from restaurants and cafés via an app which are then delivered straight to their doors.

Harrison Foster, Deliveroo’s UK regional director, said: “We’ve seen a huge demand for Deliveroo in Bury St Edmunds and we’re excited to be launching next month."

The company is on the lookout for drivers, riders and cyclists who would deliver food from restaurants in the town to customers in as little as 20 minutes.

New riders will automatically be enrolled in a first-of-its-kind free insurance package to ensure all are covered while on the road.
