Deer causes traffic jams in Bury St Edmunds

A deer which was possibly injured caused traffic jams in Compiegne Way, Bury St Edmunds this morning.

Suffolk Police were called at 8.10am to reports that the deer was in the road near to the A143 roundabout.

When they arrived, the deer had left the road and ran into some bushes.

The police left the area at about 8.30am and have called the RSPCA which will try to locate the deer.
