Debate hopes to shine a light on EU referendum
A debate on whether Britain should remain in or leave the European Union is being held at the Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday.
The meeting, which is open to all, begins at 7pm with four speakers.
The two sides of the campaign will each be represented by a politician and a local businessman.
Lord Deben John Gummer and Tim Stonehouse from Muntons will argue for Remain while MP Bernard Jenkin and Luke Morris from Larking Gowen will argue for Leave.
There will be a 10 minute presentation from each speaker followed by around 40 minutes of questions and answers, chaired by Bury Free Press Editor Paul Richardson.
