The death of a woman, whose body was discovered in woodland near Brandon Country Park yesterday, is not being treated as suspicious by police.

Suffolk Police were called to the area by a member of the public who reported finding the body of a woman just after 8am.

Officers attended the scene and set up a cordon while they established the circumstances of what had happened.

The cordon has since been removed and police are not, at this stage, treating the death as suspicious.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course to determine the cause of death.

Brandon Country Park remains open.
