Woman’s bank cards stolen

A 73-YEAR-OLD woman’s bank cards were stolen while she helped a man in a supermarket car park.

The woman was approached by the man in the car park in Bedingfeld Way, Bury St Edmunds, on Thursday February 24.

He asked for help and showed her a map as she placed her shopping in her Ford Fusion.

She advised him and drove to the nearby petrol station, where she found her cards missing.

The man, who is described as 5ft 10in, of slim build with short dark hair and a square face, was wearing a grey bomber jacket and jeans.

He spoke with a Russian or Romanian accent.
