Two charged after Brandon cocaine haul

TWO 56-year-old men have been charged with conspiring to supply a Class A controlled drug after a £10 million stash of cocaine was found in Brandon.

Terrance Smith, a company director of Ethelreda Drive, Thetford, and Frederick Colverson, who is unemployed and from Donoghue Cottages, London, were charged following their arrests on Monday night.

Police seized £10 million worth of cocaine in Highbury Road, Brandon, on Tuesday. The haul was the highest ever seized in Suffolk.

The pair will appear at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
