Sat nav thief awaits sentence

A MAN who stole hundreds of pounds of car accessories from vehicles in Bury St Edmunds will be sentenced next week.

Christopher Liam Hickling, 31, of Tayfen Road, Bury, pleaded guilty to four charges of theft from vehicles when he appeared at Bury Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, admitting to stealing a Garmin sat nav, valued at £100, a bluetooth Belkin handsfree set, valued at £150, a Traffic Master sat nav, valued at £100, and an in-car sat nav, of an unknown value, all on August 21.

He was released on unconditional bail and will be sentenced on September 6.
