Robbery at knifepoint in Bury St Edmunds

A man was robbed at knifepoint as he walked along St James’ Lane, in Bury St Edmunds, on Monday.

At around 11.30pm, a 30-year-old was approached by a man who showed him a knife and demanded his wallet.

The victim started to move away and was punched by the offender who made off with his credit card, passport and keys.

The robber is described as a white man, 20-30 years old and 6ft tall.

He had short hair and wore a grey hooded top.
