SOUND equipment and a vehicle have been seized after police raided an illegal rave.

Officers dispersed nearly 200 revellers from the event at a Fire Ride in Feltwell on Sunday morning.

The event took place between 4am and 1pm before police arrived.

Superintendent Dave Marshall, of Norfolk Police, said: “The Constabulary takes such incidents very seriously and will take action to deal with anyone intent on causing disruption and nuisance within our local communities.

“Such events are unsafe and we will continue to prosecute and seize and destroy the equipment of anyone found to be involved.”

Police urged the public to report suspicious activity which may lead to a rave.
