Police carry out drugs warrant

POLICE carried out a drugs warrant at a property in Beck Row yesterday where a quantity of cannabis was uncovered.

The warrant was carried out on Wednesday December 7 at a property on Popular Estate in Beck Row.

On entry to the unoccupied property 22 cannabis plants were found as well as various hydroponic lighting, electrical equipment and other drug related paraphernalia.

Scenes of crime officers attended the location for forensic purposes to fingerprint equipment and enquiries are ongoing.

No arrests have yet been made and investigations continue.
