Plea change on robbery

Have your say

TWO men who originally denied their part in a robbery at Hopton Post Office have now changed their plea.

Adam Fairbrass, 28, and Trevor Summers, 27, had been due to go on trial on Tuesday but pleaded guilty at Ipswich Crown Court to atempting to rob the post office on July 28 last year.

Fairbrass, of Queensway, Ipswich, and Summers, of no fixed address, will be brought back to court on the week commencing January 3 to be sentenced.

Judge Rupert Overbury ordered the preparation of a pre sentence report by the Probation Service.
