Extradition of man in Suffolk child abuse investigation

A 66-year-old man from Amsterdam will be extradited back to the UK as part of Suffolk Police’s investigation into allegations of child abuse at St George’s School in Finboroug in the 1970s and 1980s.

The Dutch judiciary yesterday granted the extradition of the man, who is now a Dutch national. He will appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court at a date to be fixed.

Police have been carrying out investigations into allegations of abuse at Finbrough, and in Norfolk and Sussex under the leadership of Derek Slade who was jailed for abusing children in his care.
