Complaints against Suffolk police officers have dropped by 20 per cent in the last year, compared with a 4 per cent decrease nationally, according to new figures.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has today published its annual complaints statistics for all 43 police forces.
They show 82 fewer complaints recorded against officers in Suffolk compared with the previous year, down from 418.
Nationally, during the same period, 33,099 complaint cases were recorded about the police in England and Wales.
