Crews were called to a tractor fire in Walsham-le-Willows this afternoon.

Firefighters from Ixworth and Elmswell attended the incident in West Street at around 2.50pm.

They arrived to find a tractor and baler well alight, with about half an acre of loose hay also affected.

They used three hose reels and beaters to extinguish the fire, which was brought under control shortly after 3.30pm.

Both crews were back at their home stations by 4.20pm.
