Revised documents will be returned for scrutiny by councillors this week after being branded ‘woolly’.
Forest Heath District Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council have been working to outline shared priorities and a mutual financial strategy.
The Draft West Suffolk Strategic Plan and Medium Term Financial Strategy will be assessed for a second time by the Overview and Scrutiny committees of Forest Heath District Council and St Edmundsbury Borough Council on Wednesday.
Alterations to the document have been made, including changing one priority from ‘better homes for everyone’ to ‘homes for our communities’.
Officers have added examples and links to supporting documents in response to councillors’ concerns that the documents did not show how priorities would be achieved.
