A trial could take place to replaced churned up grass verges on the Howard estate in Bury St Edmunds with grasscrete.

Suffolk County Cllr David Nettleton told a Howard estate residents meeting on Monday that the authority is unable to stop people driving up the verges to park, but the move would improve the appearance of the area.

He said if successful the trial will be replaced on other estates in the town.
