Community visits Mildenhall dementia day centre




A Mildenhall day centre held a community event which involved a tea and cake party.

Mabbs Hall Day Centre in High Street offered afternoon tea and cake to residents in order to promote the centre.

Mabbs Hall offers support for people with dementia and memory loss four days a week, Monday to Wednesday and Friday’s for people to join the staff for the day.

Helen Thomas, care assistant, said: “It was very good and quite busy. There were a lot of people there. We were trying to get new people to join us.

“Everyone sat around and had a chat with a cup of tea in the garden.”
