Club teaches Spanish to young learners

Have your say

CHILDREN living in and around Moreton Hall will soon have the chance to learn Spanish through a mixture of fun activities, games, songs and role play.

LCF Clubs has taught French to children from early years to key stage two, out of a studio at the Moreton Hall Health Club, in Mount Road, for around five years.

Now, after a two year gap, it has re-launched its summer classes, which take place on Fridays between 11.30am and 1.30pm, and from September 10, it will be introducing Spanish classes there for the first time.

Jon Hayes, LCF area co-ordinator and national support manager, said: “Languages are important, even more so now following the government’s U-turn on compulsory languages in primary schools.”

During term time all classes, priced at £9.95 per two hour session, will be held during weekends.

From next month private tuition and online tuition will also be available, for all age groups.
