Clarks shoes is using its Bury St Edmunds store to test a strategy to tailor its stock to the location.
The company has given the shop in the arc a revamp and says it is altering its distribution strategy to make sure stock is based on Bury’s consumer profile.
Clarks says the revamp gives the shop ‘premium in-store visuals and sleek unitary that is easy to navigate and creates a more inviting shopping space for consumers’.
It already has iPad foot measuring for children and has introduced adult’s foot measuring equipment. Tablets also allow customers to view ‘Clarks offering online’.
