Pupils at Lakenheath Primary School had the chance to meet a local writing talent on Wednesday.
Children’s author Victoria Brock, creator of Harriet the Hedgehog, visited the school to read from her stories and talk to pupils about her career.
Her visit was one of a number of events organised by staff to encourage reading among pupils.
Literacy co-ordinator Michael Tingey said: “We are passionate about building a reading-for-pleasure culture across the school.
“The pupils were really captivated by Victoria.”
