AN OLYMPIC challenge faces Tuddenham Mill’s head chef who is preparing to compete in the BBC’s Great British Menu.
Paul Foster, 29, will represent the central region in the regional heats.
This year’s brief requires Paul to develop a ground-breaking menu which reaches Olympic heights.
Paul said: “It’s the perfect brief for me it’s about pushing boundaries.
“I wanted to highlight my style of food, it’s about turning humble ingredients into something special.”
Paul will be competing against 24 of the country’s top chefs to cook at an Olympic feast hosted by five-time Olympic gold medallist Steve Redgrave.
Paul’s regional heat will be aired on BBC two between April 16-20.
After the show Paul plans to bring his Olympic-inspired menu to Tuddenham Mill.
