A chance to go walkies and cuddle puppies in aid of a national charity which provides dogs for deaf people will be held at Ickworth this Sunday.
The Great British Dog Walk, organised by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, allows walkers to choose a route of 3km or 7km around the country estate, in Horringer.
There will also be the opportunity to have a cuddle with some adorable puppies at the charity’s ‘cuddle corner’.
Rachel Clarke, community fund-raising manager for Hearing Dogs in Suffolk, said: “We are so excited to be launching the Great British Dog Walk in Suffolk. The event is the perfect day out for dog lovers, and everyone who takes part will receive a pair of doggy ears and some fantastic gifts.
“There will be lots of activities on the day including gift and craft stalls, children’s games, face painting and hearing dogs demonstrations.
More than 100 people have already signed up to the walk and would-be walkers can join them by purchasing a ticket online or turning up on the day.
It starts at 11am.
