Century Logistics has won the Small to Medium Enterprise Operations Award in the prestigious SHD Logistics Awards.

The awards mark excellence in the logistics industry, across eleven main categories.

Century, from Little Saxham, were chosen against five very strong contenders in the SME Operations category.

The judge’s comments, read out by comedian Romesh Ranganathan at the presentation in London, said: “Century Logistics was described as ‘first class’, ‘proactive’ ‘professional’ and ‘entrepreneurial’ by its partners, who recognise this company as one which extends well beyond warehousing.”

Stephen Basey-Fisher, Century Logistics’ managing director, said: “I was slightly shocked we won, given we were up against such strong contenders.

“We’re particular proud of this award because this is our industry acknowledging our commitment and hard work.”
