The rickshaw visited St Edmundsbury Cathedral, which was one of 500 churches open for the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust event.

It gave a tour of the town to dean Joe Hawes and Thomas Shavu, Tanzania's church and community mobilisation programme co-ordinator, who is visiting from Kagera diocese.

The rickshaw left the cathedral at 1.30pm for stops including St Edmund’s Catholic Church, United Reformed Church, Unitarian Meeting House, the methodist and baptist churches, the Quaker Meeting House, St Peter’s and St John's churches.
